Effects of Smoking and Lung Cancer

Smoking is BAD! Is there still a living soul that doesn't know and understand this? There can't be. There seems to be a program of constant exposure about giving up smoking in the press, TV and radio to ensure you never forget the dangers. Let's face it if you haven't received the message by now you never will.

Lung cancer is not pleasant but is not the exclusive realm of the over 65's and people prone to it because of genetics - and it's only one of the many nasty side effects of smoking. Most people think that just one cigarette won't hurt them but they obviously are unaware that one cigarette won't leave your lungs completely for a month.Imagine what a pack a day will do to them. After all this time, if you are still one of those ‘I don't know' people then you need to start reading some articles on lung cancer that may sway you.

I couldn't bear it knowing that all that research has been done and the information freely available about how to quit smoking and I chose to ignore it!I couldn't live with myself knowing that I could have prevented an unnecessary condition just by having a check-up.Many smokers completely ignore any medical advice they are given to the detriment of their own health and against all common sense. There are those that just need a bad scare to make them take some action and quit smoking.Often though by the time that the medical problem makes itself know, all the damage has been done and it's too late.

Knowing this, how stupid would you have to be to continue smoking, albeit through a slit in your throat, after having cancer of the same. Some people just never know when to quit smoking, but you have to be pretty self destructive to continue after having cancer of the throat. You cannot go on explaining things away and ignore the proof that smoking seriously damages your health. Any articles on how to quit smoking, lung cancer, asthma and bronchitis can inform you of this. Another point to mention is about second hand smoking; have you ever noticed just how badly you and your clothes smell after being a in a bar inhaling other peoples smoke? All too often people have the intention to quit but something disastrous happens and they are forced to, but by then it may be too late to make any difference.

Smoking is a big problem for people and teenagers. Smoking can cause a lot of diseases like cancer, heart disease and emphysema. When a person begins to smoke they spend a lot of money buying cigarettes. Maybe they could spend millions of dollars because they buy a lot of cigarettes. http://www.chantixhome.com/
